Aprosdeco manifests itself in Valencia and gets the commitment to pay the bills owed

23 July 2021 - 11: 11

More than 150 people among people with intellectual disabilities, families, workers of Aprosdeco, representatives of Plena Inclusión, FEAD, UGT and CC.OO. and other entities of the sector stood yesterday, Thursday, July 22, in front of the headquarters of the Department of Equality and Inclusive Policies to claim the invoices owed to Aprosdeco.

The Councilor, Mónica Oltra, received the representatives and confirmed the payment of two bills; one for today Friday and the other in August (in the middle) the payment of another 3 monthly payments, thus achieving the economic normalization of the association.

At Aprodesco they trust in meeting these deadlines and, most importantly, in the commitment that situations like this will never happen again.

From the Association for Mentally Handicapped Dénia and the Region they point out that it is important to consider these direct care services as essential resources with decent financing and, with valued and respected professionals, and to value the work of the associations whose sole objective is to improve the quality of people.

Remember that Aprodesco denounced, a few days ago, that the Ministry of Equality and Inclusive Policies owed the Association a total of 8 invoices for his management of the Occupational Center and Day Center "La Xara" amounting to more than 650.000 euros.

Aprosdeco appreciates the many expressions of support received during these weeks, "we sentídear masters but now we have checked. Thanks to families, town councils in the region, associations and charities, suppliers, the media and, to many many people who have followed and accompanied us ".
