November 06 from 2017 - 15: 46

The inclusion in society of people with disabilities must start at school. With this objective, to coexist with normality with the group of disabled people, the Association Condemned to Curb has launched, one more year and with great success, the program Som Iguals, Som Diferents.

Thanks to this proposal, directed by people with disabilities, students from various schools in the region can learn about the reality of the disability world in a fun and entertaining way. The contents of this project are structured in four blocks: an initiation in adapted sports where the students of the schools carry out adapted sports practice (Basketball and wheelchair soccer, Athletics, Bowling, Boccia, Kin Ball, Jenga and adapted cycling); awareness talks; dissemination of the documentaries edited by the Association that show the reality and the day to day of the collective, and the presentation of the book The colors of Pasqual, written by Pascual Cervantes.

All the sessions of this project are directed by people with disabilities: Pascual Cervantes, Mar Dalmau, Sergio Llobell, Jorge Femenía, Carlos Bañuls and Jimmy Higueras. For the 2017-2018 school year, the association has had the collaboration of the Department of Education and the Alicante County Council, which have made it possible to expand and consolidate the project.
