The Councilor for Territory, Maria Josep Ripoll, and that of Education, Melani Ivars, have exposed this morning the current state of the works in the educational centers of Dénia, La Xara and Jesús Pobre. The works to improve the state of the schools come thanks to the investment of 18 million euros from the Generalitat Valenciana, the largest, according to the government team, to date.
The works of the Maria Ibars institutes are planned, to which 2 million euros have been allocated, and the Historiador Chabàs, €5.
In the case of the expansion of the Pou de la Muntanya children's classroom, a process that was reported to the media this month due to the uncertainty about the fate of the students who would not be able to use the facilities at the start of the course, Melani Ivar wanted to reassure and resolve the many doubts about it. He has assured that they have already planned to transfer some 300 students to the facilities located on Joan Fuster Avenue, and they continue working so that everyone has a place to start the course. They are currently in the contracting process for the creation of the new children's classroom, but they plan for the works, in which they will invest 1 million euros, to begin next week and they expect it to last 6 months.
Within the plan are also covered the works of the Cervantes, already finished and that have supposed 15.000 €, Llebeig, in a work that is expected to last a month and will involve 250.000 €, and the rehabilitation of the roof and dining room of the Vessanes, which is still in progress hiring, will involve € 390.000 and expect to have finished in 4 months. In addition, € 800.000 will be allocated to the Pare Pere de Jesús Pobre Center although they remain without resolution.
Also contemplated within this investment is the creation of the La which will mean 4 million euros.
