The leader of Citizens (Cs) in the Valencian Community, Toni Cantó, has defended today that «Dénia necesita un Gobierno local que garantice inversiones para el crecimiento de la ciudad paralizadas por PSOE y Compromís por pura ideología y sectarismo». So stated during his visit to the municipality of Dianense accompanied by the candidate for the Mayor's Office of Cs, Sergio Benito, and the rest of the team that will attend the municipal elections on Sunday.
During the visit they have toured streets of the city center and the Municipal Market «donde hemos podido comprobar la preocupación de los comerciantes por al freno del crecimiento económico en esta última legislatura», has related Cantó, and has remarked that «Ciudadanos es la verdadera alternativa para un cambio real hacia el progreso».
Sergio Benito has also influenced that «Dénia merece mucho más de lo que ha tenido hasta ahora. Desde Ciudadanos defenderemos una propuesta de regeneración económica con proyectos sostenibles económica y medioambientalmente y soluciones que desestacionalicen el turismo más allá del sol, playa y gastronomía».
The mayoral candidate has maintained that «hay que poner una alfombra roja a las inversiones para generar riqueza y empleo. Para ello hay que captar, planificar y desarrollar grandes proyectos compatibles con un urbanismo sensato y de la mano de todas las administraciones, grupos, asociaciones y vecinos. Solo así lograremos una planificación realista y viable para Dénia».
