After the resignation of Ana Kringe as councilor of Party, last August, the municipal group in the City Council is waiting for his replacement, Sabela Miñana, to take possession of his act as mayor. The group hoped that she would attend the plenary session held this Thursday, September 28, but it did not enter as an item on the agenda.
In recent days, the PP has shown its dissatisfaction in social networks, where last Tuesday they wrote that «qué casualidad que las tomas de posesión de “ciertos” grupos vayan más rápido que “otros” grupos. Faced with this situation, the popular councilors showed their discomfort at the beginning of the plenary by placing a sign with their name in the place it should occupy, a sign that the mayor had them withdraw before beginning the session.
Once all the points on the agenda were dealt with, and before the session was adjourned, Grimalt wanted to clarify the situation. According to the mayor, the resignation of Kringe was registered on August 31, and was included in the agenda of the extraordinary plenary session held on September 7 for «hacer una gracia», because I should have gone in the session that was being held at that time.
According to the mayor, the responsibility that Sabela Miñana has not been able to take possession of his act is solely of the «mala organización» of the Popular Party. Grimalt remembered that before Miñana, in the electoral list of the PP there were three people who had to resign to be councilors, a resignation that was registered the 10 of September in the City council and that 14 day was sent to the electoral board, body in charge to decide on these questions, that did not manifest until last Tuesday, 25 of September, about this resignation. The next step is to approve the Miñana credential as a councilor, who can take possession, if nothing prevents it, at the end of October.
