The City of Dénia has joined this Friday to the Code of Good Government of the Generalitat Valenciana, which commits municipalities to make a more transparent management and good governance to fulfill their responsibility towards citizenship.

Vicent Grimalt y Rafa Carrió han estado en Gata de Gorgos, donde, junto a representantes de Gata de Gorgos, El Verger, Ondara, Ràfol d’Almúnia, Xaló, Orba, Els Poblets, Parcent, Pego, Benissa, Jávea and Pedreguer, have signed this code of ethics.

The Minister of Transparency, Social Responsibility, Participation and Cooperation, Manuel Alcaraz, presided over this act, whose signature supposes «un freno a los abusos de poder y un instrumento para fiscalizar la acción de los representantes públicos». The conseller has stressed that if the consistories comply with these agreements and be integrated into the day to day, «las relaciones con la ciudadanía serían más amables, tranquilas y basadas en la confianza y el respeto».

El Good Government Code It combines rules of a clearly juridical nature with criteria of conduct, democratic values and ethical principles such as integrity, sobriety, exemplariness, responsibility and cooperation, raising them to mandatory compliance by senior officials of the Council and the public and instrumental sectors of all and all who voluntarily adhere to it.

Actually the Code of Good Government, for all of them be the party they are, and cause laughter. And who is going to watch over them? Themselves? The PP has already created an anti-corruption administration. And what did they do? Well, charge for his position and nothing more. At most they will denounce the opposite party never within their own. To do that you need to be more mentally evolved. Another proposal facing the gallery to look good. But in real life they will continue to do the same thing they have always done, whatever they want, thinking only of their own interests totally opposed to the citizenship to which they really have an obligation to serve.

Sorry, I do not intend to mock, but when reading the news I could not help but laugh at the transparency of Monica Oltra and Chimo Puig and transferred to the municipal government.
