El Party de Dénia has reported, according to statements made by María Mut, Spokesperson of the Municipal Group of the PP in the Dénia City Council, that allegations have been presented, within the legally established term, to the initial approval of the modification of the Municipal Ordinance of occupation of public roads, approved in the Ordinary Plenary of date 26 October, and published in the Official Gazette of the province, on November 13, 2017, regarding the controversial issue of changing facilities and enclosures on the terraces located in the Raset and Explanada Cervantes area.
Specifically, the allegations, say that taking into account that all existing governments in Denia, to date, have accepted the affected terraces and their enclosures, as they were, and given that there are new entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs who have just begun to develop its activity, and therefore, are still in the payment or amortization phase of its current closure, this new modification would suppose a very important increase in the expenses of its businesses, being able therefore to harm the existing jobs in said premises.
