Next Friday, 21 of July, the city of Dénia will host the IV Winecanting Dénia organized by the Regulatory Council of Denomination of Origin. A total of 22 wineries will participate in this event that will take place in the Plaza del Consell from the 19: 30 hours and in which there will be music and tastings of the latest news, vintages, moscateles, monastrelles, etc.
This year, four of the wineries are from the Marina Alta. The participating wineries in this IV Winecanting Dénia Are: Antonio Llobell; Arraez; Bocopa; Bodegas Xaló; Finca Collado; Finca Sellés; Francisco Gómez; Heretat de Cesilia; Joan of the House; Bodegas Pinoso; The Virtudes Villena; Mendoza; MG Wines (Finca Lagunilla + Sierra Salinas); Bodegas Monóvar; San Vicente Ferrer de Teulada; Santa Catalina del Mañán; Sierra de Cabreras; Sierra Norte; Vinessens; Wines of Algueña; Vins del Comtat and Back.
Throughout the afternoon, the public will be able to purchase tasting tastings in the square with the aim that Dénia "feel again the pulsometer of your wine sector and that the offer of these products is part of the values of the creative city of gastronomy", as indicated by the president of the Alicante CRDOP, Antonio Miguel Navarro, who adds that it is important to bring the product to the consumer through this activity so that he knows "our enormous wealth".
The activity is also complemented by a promotion carried out with the local hotel industry, since a tasting of the tastings can be exchanged in establishments selected by the Association of Hospitality Businessmen of the Marina Alta (AEHTMA) in the center of the locality or even in some Population of the interior.
