Torrecremada Gardens will host during the month of August, again, four select jazz concerts in the second edition of Dénia Jazz Festival, who returns to the capital of the Marina Alta with the intention of "consolidate and become a reference in the city's cultural programming", As stated by the councilman of Culture, Rafa Carrió.
The focus of the council by this cultural event is reflected in the expansion of the program this year, with one more night concert, and the "high quality of the musicians who will perform", Say both Enric Carrió Peidro, artistic director of the festival.
El II Jazz Festival Dénia will kick off on August 4 with a performance by saxophonist Ernesto Aurignac, in a quartet with guitarist Iván Cebrián, bassist and drummer Rubén Carles Juanma Nieto.
August 11 act the singer Sylvia Howard, one of the most personal voices of international jazz, presented in Dénia accompanied by Federico Mazzanti piano, Oscar Knife, bass, and Simone Zaniol, battery.
The third concert of the festival will be the 18 August, with performances by Potato Head Jazz Band, Grenadine training Dixieland Jazz. Six musicians on stage show combining musical quality and entertainment seeking audience interaction.
Concerts will end on August 25 with saxophonists Ray Gelato and Enric Peidro, accompanied by a rhythm section which highlights Carlos 'Sir Charles' González (drums) alongside Richard Busiakiewicz (piano) and Andrés Lizón (bass).
