A los pocos días de ser nombrada concejala de Cultura, encargue al departamento de Arqueología y Patrimonio la redacción de un Plan Director que abarcara las necesidades del Castell de Dénia. El informe «Castell de Dénia. Programa de Restauració 2011-2015», fue terminado el 18 de septiembre de 2011, pasando a ser el documento de referencia de cara a las posible actuaciones en el Castell de Dénia. En este informe se destacaba la necesidad de realizar acciones puntuales muy concretas, principalmente por la situación económica municipal, pero priorizando la mejora del estado de la fortaleza, con el fin de mejorar sus prestaciones de cara al gran flujo de visitantes.

Pero ésta no ha sido la única actuación que se ha realizado en el ámbito del Castell de Dénia; la eliminación de pinos en diferentes zonas, la apertura del Centro de Recepción adecuando su accesibilidad, las mejoras de seguridad en zonas deterioradas… acciones muchas de ellas encaminadas a facilitar otras mayores en un futuro no muy lejano. La inclusión dentro del Plan Confianza de la Generalitat Valenciana de la reurbanización de la calle Sant Francesc, vía de acceso al Castell de Dénia, junto con las mejoras en iluminación, señalítica y eliminación de arbolado, es otra de las actuaciones que esperemos en breve puedan ser realizadas.
