The exit to the queen test will be at 10 hours from the door of the pavilion Miguel Buigues, ahead the athletes will have to travel a route of 10 kilometers that runs parallel to the coast by the First Montañar, Arenal and Segundo Montañar, arriving at La Caleta and returning to the exit point. It is a practically flat route with sea views, which makes it very attractive and popular for the participants.
Withdrawal of numbers
The Llebeig Xàbia Athletics Club, organizer of the race, wants to facilitate the removal of race numbers as much as possible. For this reason, starting this Friday, a space located in the Portal de la Marina Shopping Center, in Ondara, so that those who wish can remove their bib number. The time to collect the bib is from 18 to 21 pm.
On Saturday will also be enabled this same point of collection of numbers in 11 hours to 20 hours. On Sunday, the numbers may be removed in the 8 exit area: 30 to 9: 30 hours.
Trophies for the first three
As in previous editions there will be trophies for the first three classified in each of the participating categories. One of the novelties of this year is that there will be one more category, Veterans F. Also the first three local athletes in both women and men will be trophy.
Ahatach and Mª Isabel Ferrer to revalidate the triumph
As this is the first round of the Circuit, a participation of close to 2.000 athletes is expected, since it is one of the most crowded. As in the previous edition, it is precisely the local athletes who start among the favorites, in the 2017 race the dominator was Youssef Ahatach in men and Mª Isabel Ferrer in women.
Children's tests at noon
After the queen competition has been played, the time will come for the lower categories, which will have courses according to their categories, around the Miguel Buigues pavilion. The starting order of these categories will be smaller until finishing with the cadet category athletes and the races will start from the 12 hours.
