Víctor Vallés directs to the Band of Dénia in the concert of Moors and Christians

As tradition dictates, music was more than present on the first weekend of Moors and Christians in Dénia. This time by the hand of Víctor Vallés, who directed the always spectacular Agrupació Artística Musical de Dénia in the traditional concert of festive music that was held in the Plaza del Consell.

For this year, Vallés included in the repertoire several of his own works, awarded in composition competitions held in the Region of Valencia, and pieces by Francisco Valor, José María Ferrero and Pascual Marquina. For the bis opted for the black march Chimo, A melody that raised the audience from their seats to parade.

At the end of the concert, the president of the Federation of Moors and Christians of Dénia, Miguel Angel Fullana, gave a metric of gratitude to the guest director of this year and applauded the choice of pieces made for this occasion. Also, Fullana thanked the City Council for their commitment to music at the Moors and Christians parties, supporting acts like this festive music concert.
