Víctor Manuel Oller aboard “La Bona Mar”, was the winner of the 'XVI City of Dénia Fishing Trophy'

The fisherman, Víctor Manuel Oller, aboard his boat, "La Bona Mar", was the winner of the "XVI Fishing Trophy City of Dénia". Oller captured 165,400 Kg spread over 16 captures.

The second place was for, Antonio Navarro aboard the boat "Chanel" that had a catch of 57,400 kg. The third place was for, Patrick Lutz, who with his boat, "The Karan", got 48,300 kg. It means that the biggest piece captured of the contest was obtained by Óscar Roselló, with an albacore of 15,400 kg in weight.

In this most important annual trophy organized by the fishing section of the Real Club Náutico Dénia, a total of 12 boats took part that added 53 catches. The participants went out to sea first thing in the morning, putting into action a maximum of 7 rods per boat. They had time to fish until 18:XNUMX p.m., which was when they returned to the Dianense club. The catch was then weighed.

The Real Club Náutico Dénia held a gala dinner for all participants and companions on the terrace of the main building, an evening accompanied by violins in which the awarding of trophies to the winners was celebrated. The trophy delivery was presented by Amaya Sáez, manager of the Dianense club, with the presence of Jaime Portolés President of the Dianense club and his companions on the board of directors; Juan M. Riera, and Juan Ferrer.

The prizes of the champions consisted of a high-end fishing rod and reel from Quinter armory and a € 150 fuel voucher for the boat courtesy of Gasorba.
