Several canteranos of the Municipal School of Dénia have been called to the Valencian selections

The good work that has been carried out for several seasons in the Municipal Basketball School of Dénia Básquet does not go unnoticed by the technicians of the Basketball Federation of the Valencian Community. In the last seasons the call of home-grown players to the calls of the different autonomic selections is being something very habitual.

In this week the players, Iván Alexandrov and Pablo Castera have been summoned to participate this weekend in the first concentration of the Autonomous Infant Preselection. The players will be housed in the Moraira Youth Hostel and will carry out the training, scheduled Saturday and Sunday, at the Palau Sant Pere in Benissa.

Ivan will be the second experience at this level after participating in this summer in a tournament against a combined Teams southern France, Catalonia and Aragon. Paul adds to that same experience being the last player ruled out two years ago on the way to the Championship of Spain Alevín which took place in Cadiz after a whole long preparation.

Training sessions of this first concentration will be morning and afternoon sessions on both Saturday and Sunday it will facilitate the technicians of the federation proceed with the configuration of a computer that is two months participate in the Championship of Spain the category.

It is worth noting the participation last weekend of three other players from our city in the Women's and Cadet Men's concentrations. These are Audrey Neufcour and Carmen Coll who work for CB Pedreguer and Daniel Pérez of Valencia Básket. All of them are struggling to convince the technicians and be part of the final teams that will compete at the beginning of January for the Spanish Championship of their categories.

On the other hand the players of the School of Denia, Marta Chico and Pau Villanueva are also called this November 6 to the training of the Alevines Preseleciones that will take place in Guadassuar.
