18 June 2013 - 13: 10

Cans, spray, colors and imagination are the protagonists, once again, the contest Urbanizarte urban artistic interventions, organized by the Multisectorial Association of Marina Alta (Multisecma). On Friday and Saturday 21 22, artists will decorate the facades selected for this year.

Thus, Banek (Peter Botsmann, from Mallorca), will intervene on the walls of the boxes and pediatric corridors of the Hospital de Dénia; Ondewol (Francisco José Domingo Oller, from Dénia), will act on the facade of the Óptica Buigues, on the corner of Avenida del Montgó with Ramón Ortega; the 400Muralismo collective (Miquel Atutxa and Iciar Nieto, from Getxo), will leave their mark on the Manuel Lattur School of Music; Chapu (José Manuel Rodríguez Trigueros, from Orihuela), will be on Colón Street, and Lalone (Eduardo Luque, from Málaga), has a huge wall assigned to him that can be seen from the road that leads to Dénia from the AP7. Regarding the award for the best local artist, in charge of showing off at the Meeting Point, this year has gone to Oskar (Óscar Nebot, from Xàbia).

Organizers, sponsors and representatives of the city council signed the collaboration agreement on Monday in a ceremony attended by Ana Kringe and Pepa Font, representing the City Council of Dénia; Ángel Giménez, manager of Marina Salud; Alberto Morera, president of the Dénia Foundation; Imma Mengual, representing the Miguel Hernández University and the Baleària Foundation; Lucy Ferenczy, from Dénia Meeting Point; Francisco Far, from the Dénia Taxis Group; Javier Ruiz, representative of the Marina Alta Artists Association (ADAMA); and Paquita Caparrós, from the Spanish Association against Cancer.
