UNED Dénia and Masymas Fornes company signed an agreement for the training of students

The director of the UNED in Dénia, Raquel Martí, and the general director of Masymas supermarkets, José Juan Fornés, have signed a collaboration agreement this Friday through which the students of the UNED of Dénia, Benidorm and Xàbia who are studying official education degree and those enrolled to obtain a University Master's degree will be able to carry out their theoretical training in the different management departments of this supermarket chain.

José Juan Fornés afirmó que «con este convenio queremos aumentar la apuesta de masymas-Fornés por mejorar la cualificación profesional de los equipos humanos en nuestro sector, especialmente en La Marina Alta, y para ello es indispensable unir en una misma dirección el ámbito profesional y el académico». Por su parte, Raquel Martí subrayó la necesidad de que empresa y universidad puedan establecer sinergias y trabajar conjuntamente en la comarca de cara a la formación de futuros profesionales.

Discussion time in the UNED

This week we have started discussions on the current social situation at the headquarters of the Open University in Dénia. The first debate focused on the situation and rights of refugees, according to the latest and great waves of migration mainly from Syria by the conflict that is living there.

The debate began with the analysis of various teachers and tutors of the UNED on the situation, which also felt students and experts in the field. The cycle of debates will resume on Tuesday, March 22 with a session in which Public Policies for Equality will be addressed.
