The City Council has placed a temporary fence anchored in the asphalt at the end of Santísima Trinidad street. This fence will prevent the passage of pedestrians on the north side of the castle.
The measure carried out by the town council is provisional. It aims to prevent riots, vandalism and dirt on the north side of the castle and, in turn, responds to the demand of the neighborhood in the area.
The Dénia City Council, which has already begun to install the fence, was also in charge of cleaning and clearing the area before closing the access. If the measure is positive, permission will be requested from the Department of Culture for the installation of a definitive fence with controlled access to the area.
