A dozen youth bands participated in the local meeting of Dénia

Last Sunday afternoon, the streets of Denia were filled with music and youth thanks to the Meeting of Youth Bands of the High Marina, in which a total of 12 county formations met. The participants made a parade through Marqués de Campo and Diana and ended in the Plaza del Consell.

There we could see the representatives of Benidoleig, Benissa, Poble Nou de Benitatxell, Castell de Castells, Gata de Gorgos, Ondara, Orba, Pedreguer, Pego, Teulada, Xàbia and Dénia, who jointly interpreted the pasodoble Els Poblets, directed by its composer, Miguel Torrens.

The mayor of Dénia, Vicent Grimalt, gave the participating bands the C de Cultura i CO-brand identifying the MACMA, on the twentieth anniversary of this regional entity, organizer of the event.

To conclude the party, the singer-songwriter Jaume Ginestar interpreted some of the themes of his album dedicated to the writer María Ibars.
