The Marina Alta continues to be one of the regions that are best placed in terms of the rate of infections in the Valencian Community. Despite the fact that the Generalitat chose not to request that it go to Phase 2 after completing the 2 weeks of testing required by the Ministry of Health, it has continued with figures well below the national average, with only 4 cases more than the last week.
At the moment, the total number of infections registered in the region since the pandemic began is 256, with a new positive after not adding any the previous day. As for the positive deaths in coronavirus, the last one was registered on April 28, with a total of 19 deaths in these circumstances.
