The Dénia Futur project financed by FEDER funds built a green point in the area of Al Khalif II, in Montgó, where the neighbors could deposit the organic remains.
The community of neighbors Al Khalif II denounced the installation of this point considering that it was in a green area, and the Contentious Administrative Court Number 1 of Alicante gave them the reason, ordering the dismantling of the green point and resturando the area his old state.
After hearing the sentence, the council has reported that they will appeal it, since according to Pepa Font, it is fully compatible with the city's General Transitory Plan. The Councilor for the Environment, Juan Carlos Signes, defended the installation for "the important service that gives to the neighbors of the zone".
