«En el corazón de un hombre mayor, quedan alojados los recuerdos de su juventud, aquellos años en los que, la oscuridad que nublaba sus ojos desaparecía y consiguió ver el mundo gracias a su mujer, ella era su mejor guía». It is the synopsis of You were My Eyes, the short film shot in the Marina Alta stages that has been a finalist in the International Film Festival of Valladolid.
The project is a self-production of Cravid, a team formed by two creators of 23 and 22 years, Jose and Fran, Dénia and Benidoleig respectively.
The authors state that «teníamos ganas de hacer un proyecto donde mostrar nuestra zona. En mente, muchas escenas que sabíamos que funcionaban por si solas, pero, necesitábamos buscar un hilo entre todas ellas. Crear el guión de Eras mis ojos teniendo como prioridad las localizaciones, nos permitió ir amoldando la historia a medida que cambiaban las atmósferas y paisajes».
The short film is starring actors Sheila Olaiz, Blai Peris and Mario Osmar Passero, and among the landscapes it shows Llíber, Serra de Bèrnia and Les Deveses beach in Dénia.
