One hundred birds star Mediterranean parchment of Port Rotes fails

The Falla Port Rotes presented last Sunday at the Ca Nano restaurant its parchment for the Fallas 2016 Les aus del Port & Rotes, A book that starts a collection of volumes that will deal with the environment around us in an attractive, different, perfect to learn more about the flora and fauna of the place where we live way.

The parchment, written by Joan Sala, current president of the Governing Board of the Montgó Natural Park and fallera Itziar Colodro, graduated in Environmental Sciences, is a catalog of the birds that roam the coast of our territory. According to Sala "The book contemplates almost a hundred birds that are part of the fauna of our area and that virtually nobody knows". In his speech, he exhibited at Sala failure appreciation for having had him with this project and praised the hard work and dedication of Itziar with the preparation of the book.

Itiziar also dedicated a few words of satisfaction "I am very happy to have been part of this work and of course grateful for the support I have had thanks to Juan and my fault".

The event was also attended, in addition to the positions, by Pascual Martí, Alejandro Fontanet and Mar Reig, the collaborator of the book Toni Reig, who has contributed to the writing and construction of the volume; the Councilor for the Environment, Josep Crespo, who stressed the importance of projects of this nature; the Councilor for Festivities, Eva Ronda, who is also a member of the falla; representatives of the Fallera Local Board and positions from the different Fallas districts of the city.
