An accident on the Las Planas road forces the road to be closed in both directions
The road that connects the towns of Dénia-Xàbia, known as Las Planas, is cut off due to an accident that occurred about an hour ago.
The incident took place in the municipal area of Xàbia, just at the last hairpin bend between the access section to the Cape of San Antonio and the entrance to the town.
The collision was between a cyclist and a car. The 48-year-old cyclist was driving in the direction of Xàbia and the vehicle with which he collided in the direction of Dénia.
The cyclist has been seriously injured due to a severe blow to the head. The Local Police of Xàbia and an ambulance from SAMU have approached the place. The highway has remained closed in both directions while the health workers stabilized the injured man with shock and polyconcussions. The wounded man has requested the transfer to the Dénia Hospital.
