Triumphs for the cadets and fry of the Dénia Basketball in the Valencian League
The youth teams of Dénia Básquet did not have their best day in the Valencian League either, since the only teams that scored the victory were the fry and cadets.
In alevín, they beat their neighbors from Paidos Dénia by 41 to 1. The difference in rhythm between both teams was noticed in excess since those of Dénia follow the inertia of the work during the month of August when preparing the FAP of promotion to Level 1 Autonomous.
In Dénia Basketball, they seek to work on collective play situations using the pass as the main argument and work on defensive concepts in training that subsequently put into action in competition.
In cadets they beat Joventut Xàbia by 9 to 50. It was a good debut for the second-year cadets despite being still short on preparation. While waiting for greater challenges, it is time to continue improving individually and collectively to be ready to achieve the objectives that are set in mind this season.
Defeats in children and junior
The defeats came for the two children's teams and the women's junior. The children fell to CB Pedreguer by 30 to 56. The team paid the gaps in concentration and intensity throughout the match that caused many turnovers and little control in the rebound. Dianense reactions lasted a short time and did not allow them to fight for the game at any time. Despite the result, the team ended up ascending, being aware of the things that should improve to be able to compete at a better level.
The men's team fell to CB Ondara for 76 to 35 and did not have a good premiere at this stage with debut on the bench of Pascual Miralles, natural coach of Pego who has been the last two seasons at the UPB Gandía club. A lot of work to do as you can see the final result, although at times the feelings were positive and the team showed signs of assimilating what they are asked for in training, which invites us to think that the progression during the course will certainly come for the good of a group that looks more compact every day.
For its part, the junior team lost at home to CB Ifach Calp by 43 to 53, the first part ended at a disadvantage for single point dianenses by reducing the distance of up to ten that had achieved the calpinas,
In the third quarter Calp again distanced 10 points and this time it was already impossible to cut the difference despite the excellent attitude put on the field by the whole team. The weeks remaining until the start of the league should serve to focus ideas especially on the offensive ground.
