The eight occupants of the boat rescued this Friday morning in the Mediterranean have landed in the port of Xàbia in apparent good condition. They passed the 11 in the morning when a Salvamar vessel arrived at the Javiense port with the crew aboard, who disembarked and were treated by the device deployed in the area.

Four Civil Guard cars, three Local Police vehicles, two Red Cross ambulances, a water motorcycle and the Local Police boat have participated.

The mayor of Xàbia, José Chulvi, explained that the municipality has made available to the Civil Guard all the means it has. Chulvi has said that a first recognition has been made to the people "and apparently they are in good health although a more thorough recognition will be made".

For the time being, the eight emigrants have been provided with dry clothes and supplies and have been transferred to the Civil Guard barracks to be identified and transferred to a Foreigners Internment Center (CIE), waiting to be repatriated. and how it marks the protocol of action.
