The leader of Citizens (Cs) in the Valencian Community, Toni Cantó, has defended today that «Dénia necesita un Gobierno local que garantice inversiones para el crecimiento de la ciudad paralizadas por PSOE y Compromís por pura ideología y sectarismo». This was stated during his visit to the municipality of Dianense accompanied by the candidate for mayor of Cs, Sergio Benito, and the rest of the team that will attend the municipal elections on Sunday.

During the visit they have toured streets of the city center and the Municipal Market "where we have been able to verify the concern of merchants about the slowdown in economic growth in this last legislature", has related Cantó, and has remarked that «Citizens is the true alternative for a real change towards progress».

Sergio Benito has also influenced that «Dénia deserves much more than what it has had until now. From Ciudadanos we will defend a proposal for economic regeneration with economically and environmentally sustainable projects and solutions that deseasonalize tourism beyond the sun, beach and gastronomy.".

The mayoral candidate has maintained that «We must roll out a red carpet for investments to generate wealth and employment. To do this, we must capture, plan and develop large projects compatible with sensible urban planning and with the help of all administrations, groups, associations and neighbors. Only in this way will we achieve a realistic and viable planning for Dénia.".
