Swearing without a tie: some anecdotes of investiture in Dénia

14 June 2015 - 00: 02

It is perhaps the most formal of those formal ceremony live along a legislature, but the constitution of the new council has left some anecdotes to the memory of the first day of the next four years in Dénia.

It has been an act of few ties and a lot of informality: only three of the eleven male councilors have worn ties for the inauguration: Óscar Mengual and Paco Roselló for the PSOE and Miguel Llobell for the GDCU. And also only three have chosen to swear their office on the bible and not on the constitution: María Mut and Pepa Sivera (PP), and Miguel Llobell (GDCU).

A new stage begins in the City Hall and the previous one has already passed into history, as shown by the photo of Ana Kringe in the "wall of fame" dianenses of mayors in the history of democracy. It Kringe has been faster than its predecessor in office, Paqui Viciano, whose photo has not been seen on that wall since leaving the post of mayor. Yes, the current mayor says Viciano be part of the mural soon.

Without intending it, the councilor of Canviem Entre Tots Álex Rodenkirchen has become the protagonist of the event due to the difficulty of pronunciation of his surname. Both the secretary of the City Council and the president of the old table have been in trouble to pronounce the mayor's last name correctly ... and they have not succeeded, which has raised some laughter in the room.

And the secretary has also been the author of another of the anecdotes of the investiture, when he has called to swear his office to the president and secretary of the Bureau of Age, who should be the last to do so, jumping to the councilors of Citizens and Canviem Entre Tots, who have sworn their position later.

And if what happened on the day today marks the line that will be followed in the next four years, we can be calm, because to end the act, and when all the councilors posed on the steps of the Town Hall for the family photo, Grimalt has announced that it was the birthday of his number 2, Mª Josep Ripoll, to which the other councilors have responded by singing "Happy Birthday" in unison.

Is a legislature of understanding and "good vibes" approaching among council councilors? bets are allowed ...
