Mixed fortunes for Tennis Club teams Dénia

The Dénia Tennis Club competition teams had mixed luck during the weekend. The junior category team had a great start to the competition as in their debut they beat Club Tenis Las Vegas 4 to 1.

The matches that were played at the Dianense club facilities left victories for Amadeo Blasco who beat Guillermo Tendero 6-1 and 6-3. Pablo Bataller who beat Ernesto Turégano by a double 6-1. While Sergi Pérez defeated Manuel Planells 6-1 and 6-1 and Silvia Bordes did the same with Lucía Marzal whom he defeated 7-6 and 6-4. The only defeat for the Dianense club was taken by Inés Rodríguez when she fell to Gabriela Martínez 6-2 and 6-0.

Team members are already working to prepare the complicated compromise that will have the next weekend when faced Valencia Tennis Club. Valencians are the favorites so the dianenses have to be at a high level to have any chance of success.
