The trend is shooting up as can be seen, but the worst news continues to be the constant number of deaths with coronavirus in our region. On this occasion, the Ministry has reported 4 positive deaths in COVID-19 in the Marina Alta, one of them in Dénia, another in Benissa and 2 in Calp.

The regional capital continues to be the town that contributes the most new cases to the total number of infections. In just three days it has once again added more than a hundred positive cases, specifically 109. There are now 485 active cases, causing its alarming incidence to increase again to 1.150'22. Since last March, 1.869 Dianenses have already tested positive in PCR tests.

After Dénia, the municipality that registers the most positive is Benissa with 79 new cases. After this are Xàbia with 52 positives, Ondara with 36, Pego 32, Pedreguer 25, Calp 24, Teulada 22, El Verger 19, Orba 16, Gata 10, Xaló 5, Ràfol 3, Beniarbeig and Benidoleig 2 each, and they add a case of Els Poblets, Benitatxell, Alcalalí, Parcent, Murla, Senija and Castell de Castells.
