Municipal services will increase 100.000 euros contract beaches

The Department of Municipal Services Dénia this year will have a budget of EUR 4.192.323. Of the total, 1.388.000 euros will be spent on works and services, which has been reduced to an average of Export Team 20-22 workers, as well as eliminating overtime. In addition, like other agencies, is committed to recycling parts avoiding all possible expense.

1.744.000 euros will be allocated for public lighting. The councilor of the area, Sisco Signes, highlighted the savings throughout the year of around 50.000 euros through the revision of the streets with excess light, the change of the lights of the Calle Marqués de Campo, or the revision of the powers of municipal buildings.

In addition 350.000 euros for road improvements -50.000 euros more than in 2011-, and 135.000 euros they will be allocated for cemeteries.

Beach cleaning service

Signes affirmed that the next ordinary plenary session in March will take place the specifications for the concession of the beach service, which amounts to 586.000 euros and through which it is intended to improve the cleaning service of beaches, some of which more algae collected throughout the year -13.000 tons-.
