Six months in prison for fake doctor Hospital Dénia

30 September 2014 - 20: 07

The false doctor who served as such in the emergency department of the Hospital of Dénia, as well as in a Health Center of Vall d'Ebo, has been sentenced to six months in prison by the second section of the Provincial Court of Alicante

The hearing reduces the penalty for a man from one year to half a year in prison, by eliminating the crime of falsification in document, considering that there is no room for falsification because what the convicted person presented to prove that he was a doctor was a photocopy without stamps or signatures attributed to officials that could mislead about authenticity and public provenance. He is convicted solely for the crime of intrusion.

The man presented the forged degree in medicine and collegiality that was required for the performance of their duties. The company Marina Salud claims the 1.499,02 euros had been paid for services rendered.

The convicted person, without a criminal record, was exercising publicly as an optional, having been hired by Marina Salud, during five days of the month of April of the year 2009, in the Emergency Department of the Hospital of Dénia; and for another two days of the same month at the health center La Vall d'Ebo.
