The socialist councilor Pep Marí denounced yesterday that, after a meeting held with the mayor, Ana Kringe, and the environment technician to deal with the irregularities that his group has detected regarding the disinfection, rodent control and disinsection work, Dénia still does not carry out correctly pest treatment.
According Marí, the company that performs pest control in Dénia has expired contract since July 2012, charging more than 3.400 euros every month without agreement. In addition, this service is currently paying without any technical control by the City Council because it did not renew with the University of Valencia technical follow-up to the company responsible for DDD.
