The «2nd Diego Mena de Faluchos Memorial» Autonomous Fund Championship was presented

The regatta, "2nd Memorial Diego Mena", organized by the Club del Mar Boga, was presented at the Marina de Dénia marina, being the Regional Championship in the background and scoring for the SUMA regional league. The test is held this Sunday, with a journey of almost 4 miles, from the outside of the southern breakwater of the port to the height of the Mena Restaurant and return.

During the presentation, the director Marina de Denia, Gabriel Martínez, said Diego Mena was a leading figure for Dénia and "He deserves this great tribute that we are going to do through the regatta. In addition, sport has a very direct relationship with tourism and we must encourage it".

The race takes place entirely in the Marine Reserve of Cabo San Antonio, and "Without the collaboration of Marina de Dénia and the port authorities we could not make it possible. A race in this environment is incredible", Said Rafael Bustamante, president of Club of Boga Sea.

The Memorial will have three categories, male veteran, female veteran and female absolute. 40 teams from different clubs of the Valencian Community are expected to participate around 9. The regatta will begin at 14 in the morning and the trophies will be delivered over the XNUMX hours.
