The deadline for "Not being alone at Christmas" opens

Christmas is, for the great majority, a date of family reunion, of dinners and parties. But for many other people, no. Precisely for people who will not have who to share these holidays, the Department of Justice and Social Welfare, through the General Directorate of Social Action and Seniors, has launched the program again Do not be alone at Christmas, A program aimed at 65 seniors who live alone and have no one to share those dates with.

Between 23 and 27 in December, the beneficiaries will be transferred to a hotel with full board and medical care, cultural and entertainment activities, talks, excursions and dances, as well as a special Christmas Eve dinner and Christmas meal.

Those interested in becoming part of the program, for which 600 places are offered throughout the Comunitat, must provide the required documentation to the Department of Social Services of the Ajuntament de Dénia, located in the square Arxiduc Carles, number 3, on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 9 to 14 hours until the 3 of November.

The requirements to be able to participate in the program are to reside in the Region of Valencia, to be over 65 years or senior pensioner of 60, to be able to stand on their own and not to suffer behavioral disorders that can affect the coexistence in a collective residential center.
