26 June 2019 - 12: 46

The socialist Javier Scotto was inaugurated yesterday as mayor of the EATIM of Jesus Pobre, which will be his third term. With the votes in favor of the 3 members of the PSPV-PSOE and the blank votes of the 2 of Compromís, it has obtained the absolute majority with which it promises to form a social, cultural, feminist and diverse government.

Scotto returns to lead the EATIM of Jesús Pobre during the next 4 years in which he promises to fully comply with the program with which they were presented to the elections last May 26. Get the second water tank for the municipality, the TRAM d'Alacant stop, supervise the creation of the new Pare Pere Educational Center and the recovery at public hands of the three mills, symbols of local heritage, are some of the projects he promised the socialist in his investiture speech.

"The success of one is everyone's job", were the words with which Scotto thanked his team for the effort deposited in the campaign and the previous governments. At the same time, he welcomed the two members of Compromís, whom he extends his hand to make progress policies for the people, and guarantees, in reference to the neighbors who did not vote for him, to be at the service of all Jesus Poor.

Politicians, collectives and culture witness the third investiture of Scotto

All this under the presence of neighbors, representatives of groups and the City of Dénia, among which was the Mayor Vicent Grimalt, and the music band that entertained the act interpreting several pieces. According to Scotto, it was important that the culture of Jesús Pobre be present, because without the culture "There is no people and there is no democracy".

On the other hand, the vowel of Compromís Josep Fornés promised to take care that "Your represented were fine and good policies are made", concluding that in the end the important thing is "Let people be at ease".

Javier Scotto heads, in this way, the government of Jesús Pobre for the third time. "Even if we don't do the impossible, we do the unthinkable", underlined the end of the re-elected mayor of the EATIM.
