Sant Vicent del Raspeig moved his party, for a weekend, to Dénia

A large delegation of representatives of the Federation of Fogueres i Barraques of Sant Vicent del Raspeig spent the weekend in Dénia to celebrate Days of Coexistence.

Representatives of the city council of the Federation, the Bellea del Foc 2010 Paola García and his court of honor, the Queen of the Festival, the candidates beauties 2011, presidents and jury were received on Saturday morning by dianenses authorities in Room of City Hall.

Ana Kringe, alcaldesa de Dénia, dio la bienvenida a la delegación agradeciendo que eligieran nuestra ciudad para sus convivencias y deseando que pasen un tiempo estupendo entre nosotros. El presidente de la Federació, Israel Rubio, se mostró encantado de que las jornadas se celebren en Dénia, así como la alcaldesa de Sant Vicent, Luisa Pastor, que además de declarar que está «enamorada de Dénia», devolvió la invitación a nuestra ciudad para que las delegaciones festeran hagan lo propio es Sant Vicent del Raspeig.

Juan Pedro Sánchez, president of the Fallera Local Board, and the Falleras Mayores de Dénia, Laura Mena and Paula Bertomeu were present at the event.

Throughout the weekend they learned more about the rich Dianense heritage, which they enjoyed with a summer temperatures.
