Roc Chabas will name the research grant from the Municipal Archive of Dénia

Last Friday, during the celebration of the centenary of the death of Diane historian Roc Chabàs, the Councilor for Culture, Pepa Font, announced that the Investigation Scholarship of the Dénia City Council, which coordinates the Municipal Arxiu, will be renamed Research grant Roc ChabasIn homage to the famous Dianense.

In the homage, which took place at the door of the native house of the historian, were present the mayor, Ana Kringe; the Councilor for Culture, Pepa Font; Ignacio Fagoaga, family member of Chabàs, and Auxiliary Bishop of Valencia, Enrique Benavent, as well as Dénia senior faller, Anna Sobrecases; the president of the Local Fallera Board, Jaume Bertomeu; Dr. José Terencio de las Aguas, whose father, José Terencio Farré, sculpted the face of Chabàs who presides over the house, representatives of social entities of the city and neighbors.
