The Municipal School of Adapted Sports of the City of Dénia allows more than 80 people to enjoy sports regardless of their abilities, age or sex. In fact, one of the main features is its character fully open to all functional diversity profiles.

The activities take place every afternoon at the IES Maria Ibars de Dénia facilities, and morning and afternoon swimming at the Aqualia Pool.

Thanks to the joint work with the Raquel Payá School, this 2019-20 school year all the students of the school participate in the activities offered by the School as another extracurricular activity.

The Somos Capaces project, Promis prize

The Condemned to Bordillo Association is responsible for managing the school through the "Somos Capaces" project, thanks to the City Council of Dénia, the Ministry of Culture, Research, Education and Sports of the Generalitat Valenciana and various individuals.

"We are capable" has been recognized in 2018 with two national awards for its social impact and its clearly inclusive approach and in 2019 with the "Promis" award for promoting and facilitating access to adapted sports.
