Ramón Portolés, Carmen Calvo and Marta Lafuente Trophy winners Fall Dinghy

Last Saturday, the Light Sailing section met again at sea to celebrate the third and final round of the Light Sailing Autumn Trophy, but luck did not accompany them as far as weather is concerned. The fleet remained in the sea until past the 12 hours of the half day but the wind was not enough to celebrate some of the foreseen sleeves.

Finally, the winners of the trophy were, Ramón Portolés, with his boat Musto Skiff, Carmen Calvo second of the classification with a boat of the Europe class and in third place Marta Lafuente of the Optimist class. A very varied classification and an abundant fleet have been the most outstanding characteristics of the Autumn Trophy for the fleet of light sailing.

Next year, the boats will meet again in the Winter Trophy where all the existing classes of dinghy sailing will be able to concentrate again to compete in the waters of Dénia and celebrate some fun days by the hand of the RCND Dinghy Sailing section coordinated by Antonio Vidal, sports director and Ramón Portolés, dinghy sailing member.
