Rafa Carrió confirms his intention to return to head the list of Compromís for the elections of 2019

Valencian Rafa Carrió has transferred to Compromís his intention to repeat as a candidate for mayor of Dénia in the municipal elections of 2019 in Dénia. This was made known to the executive, being for the moment the only candidate of the party.

In the month of January, as reported by the local secretary, Vicent Català, an assembly will be held to open the candidacy period. If another candidate is presented, some primaries will be held, and if no one else shows up, Rafa Carrió will have to be ratified by that same assembly.

Carrió claims to be «ilusionado» despite the difficulties and setbacks that have existed in recent years in the City. The current deputy mayor of Dénia says he has «voluntad de seguir trabajando» because «como mínimo queremos cuatro años más».

The news has been shared with the media during the traditional Christmas lunch, in which also Carrió and his councilors Vicent Crespo, Eva Ronda and Josep Crespo have taken stock of the achievements of their councilors in these years in the government.

They also recalled that, despite being only four councilors, «somos el 50% de todo lo que se está haciendo en el Ayuntamiento» and have been «el equilibrio» I needed the session. Carrió and Compromís consider themselves «fundamentales para el funcionamiento en el Ayuntamiento de Dénia».
