Quique Dacosta moved his creations to Valencian Museum of Il.lustració i Modernity (MuVIM)

Chef Quique Dacosta embarks on a new adventure that this time takes him away from his daily surroundings to show the world his creations. Starting on Wednesday, July 22, he will be the protagonist of an exhibition that can be visited at the Museu Valencià de la Il·lustració i la Modernitat (MuVIM).

Quique Dacosta. cultural landscapes is the name of the show that the chef has prepared to show the public, conceptually, the creative process in each of his culinary designs. This is the result of two years of work and collaboration between Beatriz Garcia Morales, curator of the exhibition, and Enrique Chapa QB Architects. Throughout this time, Dacosta himself has overseen the development work and assembly.

According says Dacosta himself, "The perspective they have given to the exhibition is not purely gastronomic, but fundamentally artistic. They have extracted the most inspirational and conceptual part of the dishes and mixed it with the creative part. The edible works of the restaurant, enter the museum as concepts that create a language in which other disciplines participate ".

For the curator of the exhibition, this exhibition becomes "an approximate knowledge game, a journey that we have tasted in spiral transit around Quique Dacosta".

Exhibition Quique Dacosta. landscapes Transformed It consists of videos, set designs and reproductions of the most iconic (in the style of landscapes) and essential course of his career, divided into five thematic sections: Exteriority landscapes; Spiral. The Travel Argonauta; Routes landscapes; Creativity Studio kitchen. Scientists landscapes, and Landscapes of interiority.

The restaurant Dianense Quique Dacosta is credited with three Michelin stars and this season 2015 presents the menu MoodsA set of creations for which the chef says that for the first time, "I have sought inspiration within me and not outside".
