Puig announces that the Consell will initiate the early reversal of the Dénia hospital before the summer

The president of the Generalitat, Ximo Puig, has announced that the Consell will begin in the coming weeks, "before summer", the negotiation process with the concessionaire company of La Marina Alta hospital to terminate their contract in advance.

This has been explained by the head of the Consell at the control session of Les Corts, where he has informed that the Generalitat will rescue the sanitary concessions "as they win" or there are certain situations that advise an early resolution as in the case of the Dénia hospital, whose concession ends in 2024.

The president has advocated "a health that has a management always controlled by the public authorities and that has the necessary resources, managed in an efficient and transparent way" and, in sum, "a health where the only possible criterion is the quality of care".

The announcement of the Consell comes days after the reversal of La Ribera Hospital after the end of the contract, last 1 in April.
