Professional China and Belgium for tourism in Dénia interested

Cultural, gastronomic and nautical Dénia offering has attracted the attention of specialists in tourism from China and Belgium, which these days have visited the city to see first hand the opportunities the city offers.

Specifically eight tour operators agents Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hong Kong specializing in cultural tourism and gastronomy, we visited interested in knowing the cuisine of the city and its expertise as a gastronomic destination and Creative City of Gastronomy by Unesco, on a journey organized by the Tourist Board Costa Blanca Tourism in collaboration with Dénia.

Accompanied by tourism department staff, agents enjoyed a guided tour of the museums, the historical center, the Mercat Municipal, the fish market, the castle and traditional neighborhoods.

They also met a sample of the hotels and restaurants of Denia visiting two hotel accommodation, one located in the city center and another in beach area, as representative offer of the city and enjoying a lunch of traditional cuisine in a restaurant in town .

Belgians interested in nautical tourism

Also last week visited the city the Belgian journalist Françoise Cus, magazine Nautica Magazine specializing in nautical tourism, to know the sailing facilities of the city and its extensive related offer. The visit is part of a familiarization tour for specialized press (press trip) organized by the Valencian Agency of Tourism.

Cus visited the El Portet, Real Club Náutico and Marina de Dénia marinas and at noon made contact with our gastronomy, having lunch in one of the many restaurants that the Dénia marinas have.
