The First Drones Race Tournament arrives at Portal de la Marina

On July 8, the First Drone Racing Tournament will be held at the Portal de la Marina shopping center. Participants will demonstrate their skills as pilots and will be eligible for three prizes of €300 for the champion, €200 for the runner-up and €100 for the third place finisher.

The race is open to participants of all levels, not having to have or carry your own drone. For those unfamiliar with drone piloting, the training day will be given on the day of the event where you will learn how to handle them. The event will be energized with talks and workshops in which it will not be necessary to be targeted in the race to attend.

The competition will take place throughout Saturday. It will begin at 10: 30h in the morning, at which time participants will have to register and validate their entry in the information point of the Shopping Center. To participate in the race will have to acquire entry through the portal ticketea.com, with a symbolic price of 3 €.

From 11: 00h the 52 participants will receive training on how to pilot a drone, and will have the opportunity to make test flights without FPV (First Person View) glasses as well as with them. The kick-off of the competition will be at 14: 00h. This will last until 21: 30h, at which time the winners will be proclaimed and prizes will be awarded.
