Prevention and health in the new lecture series organized by the Classroom of the Third Age

The Classrooms of the Third Age of Dénia, with the collaboration of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (AECC) of Dénia and the Association of Parkinson Dénia-Marina Alta, have organized a series of conferences to be held between the months of February and May to address issues related to prevention and health.

The conferences will February 19 Friday and it will be the head of Oncology of the Hospital de Dénia, Joan Manuel Gassent, the president of AECC Dénia, Pablo Segarra and a Dénia Public Health technician who will explain the Cancer Prevention Campaign.

El Winners will be announced in March The talk will address Parkinson's disease with the contributions of three speakers: the neurologist Juan Salas, the speech therapist Francisco Cejudo and the technique Manoli Ramírez.

In the month of April, the day 15, we will talk about The Mediterranean diet as prevention of cancer and Parkinson's, A talk given by Marián Martín Ballester, dietician-nutritionist and Maria Ortolá, specialist in acupuncture.

The talks will end the May 6 with a lecture by dermatologist Ruud Valks on solar prevention in which the doctor will also perform a free review to the attending public.

All the talks will take place in the Multipurpose Room of the Social Center of Dénia at 17.30 hours. The entrance is free.
