Presentation of the "XXIX Virgen de los Desamparados Trophy" organized by the Club Rem Dénia

The Club Rem Dénia presented in Marina de Dénia the “Trophy XXIX Virgin of the Helpless”, A regatta included in the"VI League SUMA". The president of the club, Miguel Camarena, the director of Marina Dénia, Gabriel Martínez and the sports councilor, Marián Tamarit, participated in the event.

The test held on Sunday March 6, 8 start at: 30 hours and will end on 14: 00 hours. A schedule is conditional on entry into the ferry port as Camarena explained, "We have to finish at two o'clock since there is a ferry from Baleària around that time".

Registrations are closed next Tuesday but 18 clubs, 71 teams and around 700 rowers are expected to participate. The great novelty of this year is the participation of the children's category created to encourage rowing among the youngest.

The race course will be inside the port with four demarcated streets. Categories of veterans, cadets and children will travel a distance of 700 meters with a tack. Absolute category has 1.400 meters with three tacks.

The sports councilor, Marián Tamarit, thanked the Club de Rem Denia and the sponsors for their efforts to carry out one of Dénia's most veteran activities.
