Popular Dénia will present, together with the municipal groups of Ciudadanos and Gent de Dénia, a motion with which they will request the creation of an investigation commission on the irregular vaccination process of the Santa Llúcia residence that has cost the job so far Councilor for Social Welfare, Cristina Morera. With this commission they seek to collect all the information that clarifies what happened.

Despite the fact that the vaccination protocol of the Ministry of Health is clear regarding the priority groups in each vaccination phase, many irregularities have been seen in this process that have led to the administration of doses to non-priority people as political positions. The last case is that of the Dianense councilor Cristina Morera, who has already resigned her post assuming the mistake she made.

There is a "Indignation and discomfort on the part of the citizens, who observe that this type of irresponsible practices, added to the great lack of coordination between the central government and the rest of the autonomies for the implementation of the vaccination plan, delays the vaccination process in an irremediable way ", says the leader of the Dianense PP, María Mut, in the motion presented. "That is why, in these uncertain moments, the transparency of the local government is so important, to guarantee that any position that skips the current vaccination protocol, will assume their responsibility and leave their position automatically and immediately."

In this sense, PP, Cs and Gent de Dénia request the creation of an Investigation Commission to clarify "with full transparency" the vaccination of the mayor and other people in his immediate environment, making public how many vaccines have been received against COVID-19 irregularly, "so that it can be determined those who, abusing their situation of power, have skipped the Health protocols", the motion reads.

In the same way, the groups ask that the plenary session express the need for all the components of the municipal corporation to assume the ethical commitment to request the resignation or immediate dismissal of any public office that has skipped the vaccination plan or you do not comply with said protocol for your own benefit or that of a close friend or family member, "thereby harming the people who really needed this vaccine as a priority and have seen their dose delayed because of these unacceptable irregularities".
