07 March 2019 - 11: 55

Several members of Podemos in Dénia went out to the street on Wednesday to talk with the citizens about equality and feminism, in an action that is part of the International Women's Day that is celebrated this Friday, March 8.

During the morning they were talking with the citizens about the reasons that motivate them to support the feminist strike this year, which are mainly based on giving visibility to women. They also pretend "to denounce and make visible the oppression, domination and exploitation of which they have been and are the object by the group of men within the patriarchy".

With this action they claim to claim equality, denounce the wage gap, bet for family conciliation and support a strike of care, consumption, labor and student "in order to demonstrate that we are essential in all areas of life".
