Poor attendance at the demonstration called by PAHs Dénia

Saturday, the Platform of People Affected by Mortgages Dénia, PAHD, had called a demonstration under the slogan Dignity, bread, work and home together with CC.OO., Intersindical, EUPV, ERPV and PCPV-PCE.

The demonstration left Archiduque Carlos Square (Bus Station), followed by Patricio Ferrándiz and Calle Diana until it ended at the Glorieta del País Valencià. But, despite the great convening power of the association and the large number of people who live affected by mortgages, they managed to mobilize only a hundred people.

More than 35.000 empty homes in the Marina Alta

In the region of the Marina Alta, according to PAHD, there 35.000 empty houses and no town hall, 33 in the Marina Alta has approved a motion to create a social housing in each municipality as measures to avoid situations of social exclusion according to own association.

Therefore, the PAH of Dénia believes that showing discontent with such a cruel system with people is a very necessary act in the Marina Alta.
