The popular Pepa Font shows her concern about the latest fires that have broken out in the region
The Popular Party of Dénia has met with ACIF Marina Alta, the Association Against Forest Fires, after its great concern for the mountains of the region. Pepa Font recalled that "the climate is becoming drier and hotter" so we must be very alert with future fires that may occur on our coast. In fact, in recent days there have been several outbreaks of fire in the Montgó and in the Llebeig cove in Teulada.
This day has served to find out, first-hand, the situation of ACIF Marina Alta volunteers, as well as whether they are well supplied with material to deal with any emergency.
From the Popular Party they have taken the opportunity to thank the group of volunteers "for their invaluable work and dedication to keep the city of Dénia, as well as the entire region, as closely monitored as possible, through preventive measures. Measures that will have to be reinforced due to the situation in which we find ourselves”, Pepa Font qualified.
